Le Napoléon reveals a lactic aroma with fruity and vegetal notes which lengthens in the mouth to give way to a spicy note. This firm, pressed and cooked farmhouse cheese is ripened on the surface for six to nine months. It is made with pasteurized milk from the family farm’s herd of Holstein cows. Under its pink-orange rind hides a dough with a golden hue. Serve Napoleon cheese with fresh fruit or add it to your favorite sandwich or sandwich. On pasta, in quiches and omelets or as a tasting tray, the Napoleon will delight family and friends during your meetings.
Its name was given to it to honor Napoleon Blackburn, founder of the Blackburn business, which now includes the farm and the cheese factory.
